The Hillel Lodge Family Council has been operating for 2 years. We are still in the process of developing our mission and mandate, but our current goals are to communicate, support, connect and inform the families of the residents of Hillel Lodge. We have spent 12 - 18 months inviting representatives from the various departments and services at Hillel to speak at our meetings to inform the families about the functions, services and issues of the departments, and to facilitate communication between the families and the departments of the lodge. Currently we are arranging speakers to inform us about the various medical , cognitive, psychiatric and physical issues that affect our loved ones.
