Summary:

U-First!® for Care Partners is a new education program offered through the Alzheimer Society in Ontario to help family and friends supporting someone experiencing behaviour changes caused by dementia or other cognitive impairment. Funding was provided by the Ontario Brain Institute (OBI) for a 2-year evaluation of the program to learn how it helps care partners to develop skills and confidence to understand and respond to behaviour changes in the person they are supporting and how communication and collaboration with other members of the care team is impacted by participation in the program. Join us to learn more about the program and its impacts.
