Understanding Gambling in Later Life

Presented by the Toronto Public Library

This evidence-based workshop is intended for older adults, their families and anyone who wants to understand problem gambling in later life. Participants will learn to recognize what problem gambling looks like, and be able to explain how to prevent, manage or find help for a gambling problem. Resources and supports (in multiple languages) will be shared.

This workshop is part of a series: Understanding Mental Health and Well-being in Later Life, developed by the Provincial System Support Program at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) with funding from the Ontario Ministry of Seniors and Accessibility. It will be delivered by Hope and Me, the Mood Disorders Association of Ontario.
