Join us to virtually thank and celebrate participants and presenters who supported TCA's Community Circle Program followed by an interactive musical performance by Smile Theatre. The Community Circle program is coming to an end so we would like to recognize the participants and presenters for making a meaningful and wonderful program for diverse older adults in Toronto!
About the Smile Theatre performance:
Come and join the Smile Theatre Serenaders, as they sing your favourite songs, dance, and bring joy and laughter to the evening. The Serenaders are young musical theatre performers, who appear regularly in retirement homes, care homes and hospitals, spreading their musical magic wherever they go.
TCA's Community Circle’s program seeks to engage Toronto’s diverse older adult communities and reduce social isolation during COVID-19. We intend to collaborate with local communities and host virtual webinars, in areas such as arts and culture, recreation, health and fitness and social services. We hope to create a virtual experience which provides a sense of belongingness that is safe, healthy and fun. The program is funded by way of a grant from the Resilient Communities Fund through Ontario Trillium Foundation.
