Free Virtual Workshop: Legal Decision-Making

Join us for a free educational workshop with Stephanie Dickson from Pooran Law. In this session you will learn more about the legal framework for capacity and decision-making, common substitute decision-making mechanisms (including guardianship and Powers of Attorney), as well as ways that we can offer supports for decision-making in order to promote independence and self-determination for people with disabilities.
This workshop is part of a monthly education series provided through our H.E.A.R.T.S Caregiver Program. This program provide supports, educational resources and networking opportunities for older adult caregivers caring for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
