Communications Specialist (Canada Summer Jobs)

Family Councils Ontario is seeking a Communications Specialist to join our team as part of the Canada Summer Jobs initiative. The Communications Specialist provides administrative support to the Communications Manager. They help to implement communication strategies and projects and are responsible for the drafting and editing of blog posts, ebulletins, and other communications materials.

The ideal candidate should be excited about our mission to increase the quality of life and care in long-term care, and able to conduct research as well as create content on the subject. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator with strong attention to detail. The primary objective of this role will be to support and promote the clear communication of the organization’s message across multiple channels.

Terms of Employment:

35 hours per week. $15/hour. 8 week contract. Fully remote and flexible work environment.

Health Policy Research Analyst (Canada Summer Jobs)

Family Councils Ontario is seeking a Health Policy Research Analyst to join our team as part of the Canada Summer Jobs initiative. They will report to and be responsible for supporting our Policy and Research Manager. The Health Policy Research Manager will be proficient in gathering and analyzing statistics and communicating them in a meaningful way via report writing.

Graphic Design & Illustration Animator (Canada Summer Jobs)

Family Councils Ontario is seeking a Graphic Design and Illustration Animator to join our team as part of the Canada Summer Jobs initiative to create high-quality artwork for our digital and social media publications. The Graphic Design and Illustration Animator is responsible for creating, illustrating, and animating content to support to a variety of organizational projects. Additionally, this position will be responsible for editing scripts, creating story boards, and editing content.

The ideal candidate is creative, committed to teamwork, and able to work independently under deadlines and should be excited about our mission to increase the quality of life and care in long-term care. The successful candidate will be adaptive, creative, and receptive to direction with strong communications and computer skills.
