Administrative Coordinator (Part Time)

The Role:

As an Administrative Coordinator, you will support the CEO and the broader FCO team in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the organization. This part-time role is critical in providing administrative coordination, managing internal processes, and supporting governance and event planning.

Position Details:

Salary is: $32,000 annually

Benefits: Participation in the OPTrust Select pension plan (3% matched contributions) is optional. Health Spending Account is included.

Typical weekly hours are: 14 hours

Availability: Must be available to work 14 hours within FCO’s standard hours of work: Monday-Thursday 9 AM-5 PM, with e.g., occasional overtime, travel, or evening and weekend commitments.

Outreach Coordinator (Southwestern Ontario)

The Role:

As Outreach Coordinator, you’ll be the first point of contact for many families and council members. You’ll support them through outreach, education, and personalized consultations—helping councils grow, solve problems, and strengthen their relationships with long-term care homes. This role is ideal for someone passionate about community engagement, adult learning, and strengthening families' voices in long-term care.

Position Details:

Salary is: $60,000 annually.

Benefits: Participation in the OPTrust Select pension plan (3% matched contributions). Health and dental benefits.

Typical weekly hours are Monday-Thursday, 9 AM-5 PM. Flexible hours are available.

Availability: Must be available to work Monday-Thursday 9 AM-5 PM with occasional overtime, travel, or evening commitments.

Intake Coordinator (English/French Bilingual) (part-time)

The Role:

As the Intake Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for individuals seeking support from Family Councils Ontario. You will assess client needs, coordinate service referrals, and ensure timely, compassionate, and culturally sensitive responses.

Indigenous and Cultural Homes Outreach Coordinator

The Role:

As the Indigenous and Cultural Homes Outreach Coordinator, you will lead FCO’s relationship-building efforts with culturally designated long-term care homes across Ontario, with a focus on Indigenous communities. Your work will ensure inclusive, culturally appropriate engagement and capacity-building strategies that support caregivers, home staff, and council members.
