Meadow Park's Family Council has been in existence since 2001. The Council is referred to as "Family Ties" which allows family an opportunity to find mutual support, advocate for their loved ones, and find opportunities for education. "Family Ties" has incorporated an annual barbeque to raise awareness about the Family Council and education for families about the services available within the long-term care home. The Council is chaired by a family member and staff are present for support to the members.
