Family Council consists of members/friends of residents of the Home who meet to offer peer support, education, and suggestions to improve the experiences of all residents of the Home. The Council meets monthly, and regularly invites the Administrator and IPAC Manager to each meeting, and selectively one of the managers to each meeting to review their initiatives and to receive input/feedback from Council members on their area of responsiblity. The Council annually selects a Chair/Co-chair. The Co-chairs communicates each month will all family members to submit ideas, includes the Council agenda and minutes to encourage attendance at the monthly meetings.
