Presented by CBR Canada

About this event

A CBRCanada Live Discussion: Designing Long-Term Care Homes: Lessons Learned and rethinking the future.

February 24, 2022, 12:00-1:15pm EST

Join presenters Chantal Trudel (Associate Professor, Carleton University) and Soo Wong (Ontario Liberal Candidate and Health Care Systems Expert) in discussion about a community-based research approach to long-term care architectural design during the pandemic.

A week after their webinar on "Long-Term care homes during the pandemic: Lessons Learned and rethinking the future" CBRCanada invites members to participate in a live discussion and explore how to integrate webinar learnings into their practice.

After a short presentation, webinar presenters will ask questions for participants to discuss in small groups. The event will end with a group discussion. We will reflect, problem solve and support each other as we grapple with important issues raised during the webinar. Participants do not need to have attended the webinar to attend the live discussion.

This Fall and Winter 2021-2022, CBRCanada is linking webinars with live discussions on the theme of community-based research and COVID-19. If you missed the webinar live, you can also watch the webinar recording (posted here), which will be posted before the live discussion.

Facilitators:

  • Dr Chantal Trudel, Director, Centre for Community Engagement, and Associate Professor, School of Industrial Design, Carleton University
  • Soo Wong, Ontario Liberal Candidate, Scarborough-Agincourt and Healthcare Systems Expert
