Description of event:
An online workshop for senior citizens on how to stay digitally connected during the pandemic. What does it mean to use the app on the browser and open it after downloading? What is the difference if you delete an app from home screen and delete it permanently from your device? Is it possible to download the app again? Learn steps to download mobile apps on your device from your App Store and practice searching and downloading apps with Q+A during the session.
Requirements for the session:
- A device to attend the Zoom meeting (smartphone, iPhone or tablet, laptop or computer)
- A second device to practice downloading apps: smartphone, iPhone or tablet
- Internet access for both devices
- Skill level: intermediate. Familiarity with your devices is an advantage.
You will need to have access to two devices: 1 device for attending the Zoom meeting and 1 device (iPhone, smartphone or tablet computer) to practice searching and downloading apps on your preferred device.
