Guest Post: Trapped poem

by Family Councils Ontario

Trapped

Where goes the mind

When it’s been tossed

Depleting the memories

Abandoning thoughts

Words don’t come easy

No flow from your tongue

And those that escape you

Seem nonsense to some

Just what do you see

Through unfocused eyes

A jumbled up picture

A puzzle disguised

My mind’s in disorder

Can’t share how I feel

Its major frustration

I’m trapped in a wheel

Those words are inside me

Lost not to be found

Riddled with questions

The answers go round

The squeeze of my hand

The warmth of my touch

My new way of showing

I love you so much
