Family Council Facilitation Skills
Strong facilitation skills are essential to running effective Council meetings, events, and initiatives. Developing facilitation skills will help to keep your group on track and productive, and aid in resolving addressing difficult behaviours during and between meetings. The workshop will provide an introduction to the role and responsibilities of a facilitator, discuss how Council leaders can serve as effective meeting facilitators, and provide hands-on opportunities to build and practice facilitation skills.
Skill Level: Introductory-Intermediate. This session is great for Family Council leaders (Council Chairs, Vice-Chairs, Presidents, Vice-Presidents, Meeting Facilitators etc...) who are looking to build their facilitation skills in order to run more effective meetings and improve group operations. It will also be of interest to Family Council members who are considering taking on a more active role in their Council.
