Working Better Together: The Benefits of Family Involvement in LTC!

Family members play an important role in the lives of LTC residents and the Long-Term Care Home community. Join us to learn more about how you can be involved in your loved one’s Home and make a difference. Topics covered in this session will include: how and why to get involved with your Home’s Family Council; working in collaboration with staff and management to affect positive change and support quality improvement; communicating respectfully and effectively; and, how to create positive relationships with staff, residents and families!

Goal: To inspire and inform you on how your involvement in your loved one’s Home can improve the quality of life for all residents and build community in the Home
